This is an excerpt from Dr. Ron’s book Kingdom Advancement.
Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. (Psalm 24:10)
Psalm 24 ends with a thunderclap. Yahweh Sabaoth—the LORD of Hosts, the LORD of armies. This is perhaps the most comprehensive title of God in all of Scripture. It does not describe one attribute. It encompasses His lordship over every host—every angelic army, every heavenly being, every force visible and invisible. There is nothing outside the command of the One identified in this final verse as the King of Glory.
And the declaration is unequivocal: He is the King of Glory. Not may be. Not could be. Not we hope He is. He is. The same settled certainty with which the psalm opened—the earth is the LORD’s—closes with equal certainty: He is the King of Glory.
Kingdom advancement begins and ends in declaration.
Not strategy alone. Not programming.
Declaration—the bold, faith-filled, legally grounded proclamation
of what is permanently true about the King of Glory.
An ancient door is a structural reality in the heavenly realm with legal backing—a covenant, an iniquity, or an agreement with The LORD of Hosts commands armies—and those armies are not only metaphorical. I have written extensively on this in Commissioning Angels and Engaging Angels in the Realms of Heaven. The direct, practical point here is this: the angelic hosts of the LORD of Hosts are assigned to participate in the Kingdom advancement you are engaged in. They are not spectators. They are active participants, commissioned from the heavenly courts, assigned to support the advance and execute the verdicts of those who carry crown authority.
When Elijah was running from Jezebel in exhaustion and despair, an angel provided food twice—because the journey is too great for you (1 Kings 19:7). When Daniel was seized with weakness, a heavenly messenger said your words were heard from the first day. When Peter was in prison under sentence of death, an angel released him, walked him past two guard posts, and through a gate that opened by itself (Acts 12:6–10). When you advance your Kingdom assignment in genuine crown authority, the LORD of Hosts sends you out accompanied.
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)
I want to be specific because this dimension of Kingdom advancement is largely neglected in the body of Christ. The LORD of Hosts—the very title that closes Psalm 24—is a military title. He commands hosts of angels. And those angels are assigned to the advance of His Kingdom through His authorized representatives on earth.
When you operate in your crown authority, you have the capacity to commission angels to assist in your specific assignment. This is not about commanding angels arbitrarily—it is about releasing them into the specific work the LORD of Hosts has assigned them for your advance. The Courts of Heaven issue the orders. Your declarations and intercessions provide the legal basis for those orders to be executed in the natural and spiritual realm of your territory.
When the Aramean army surrounded Dothan to capture Elisha, his servant woke in terror: Alas, my master! What shall we do? Elisha’s response is one of the great declarations of faith in Scripture: Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And then he prayed that his servant’s eyes would be opened.
The servant looked and saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire—the armies of the LORD of Hosts, already surrounding the city, already in position, already present in the situation that had looked like certain defeat. The angelic army did not arrive when Elisha prayed; it was already there. His prayer opened his servant’s eyes to what had been present all along.
This is the reality of Kingdom advancement for the believer who carries crown authority. The armies of the LORD of Hosts are not waiting to be convinced to show up. They are already deployed in your territory. The question is whether you have eyes to see them—and whether you will advance with the confidence their accompaniment provides.
[This activation is to be spoken aloud in the context of your specific Kingdom assignment.]
Begin by positioning yourself before the LORD of Hosts—the Commander of Heaven’s armies. Speak:
“Father, I come before You as a son/daughter carrying the crown You have placed on my head. I acknowledge Your command over the hosts of Heaven and Your authority over every angelic assignment.”
Ask for revelation of the angelic assignment over your specific advance:
“Father, show me what angels You have assigned to my Kingdom work. Open my eyes to see the heavenly assistance that is already present in my territory.”
Wait and write what you receive.
Now commission the angels according to their assigned work:
“In the name of Jesus and by the authority of the crown I carry, I commission the angels assigned to my advance to go forth into [specific territory or assignment]. Carry out the orders of the LORD of Hosts. Execute the verdicts of the Courts of Heaven over [specific situation].”
Speak specifically into the areas of your advance where you most need heavenly assistance:
“I release angels to assist in [area 1]. I release angels to war on my behalf in [area 2]. I release angels to open access in [area 3].”
Close with gratitude and expectation:
“Father, thank You for the armies of Heaven that advance with me. I will not advance as though I am alone. I go forward with the full accompaniment of the LORD of Hosts. His Kingdom will advance through my territory.”
“The LORD Almighty—He is the King of Glory, and I advance His Kingdom in the earth.”
“I am not advancing alone. The LORD of Hosts has sent me out accompanied.”
“The angelic armies of Heaven are assigned to my advance, executing the verdicts of the Courts of Heaven.”
“I advance with open eyes—seeing not just the opposition but the armies of the King of Glory that surround my assignment.”
“He is the King of Glory. There is no force that can ultimately withstand His advance through me.”
