Mark & Monique Jackson

Mark and Monique met in his home town of Sydney, Australia after years of Mark praying for his wife (it’s quite a story).

Shortly after getting married, the Lord led them to move and work with Ellel Ministries in the United Kingdom for a little over two years. Since then, they have relocated to and currently live in Ontario, Canada which is Monique’s home land.

Mark, a city boy at heart, is a prolific teacher, with a background in Christian counseling, coaching and discipleship. A conversation with Mark will find you challenging your established thought patterns and stretching the paradigms in your life, to discover the truth of events in the world and ultimately to seek the Truth, being the person of Jesus.

Monique is a passionate farm girl who loves to nurture and see things grow along with spending time in the kitchen preparing ‘homegrown’ meals. This expands outward to people with years of experience in nursing and homecare, she moves naturally into a pastoral caring and counseling role and is an equally accomplished teacher in her own right.

Together Mark and Monique create a dynamic team, city meets country, teacher meets hospitality, working well together and balancing each other in their teaching and ministry to others. They are valued members of the LifeSpring International Ministries family for many years and continue to grow in their roles as Directors of LifeSpring School of Ministry and AfterCare.

AfterCare of LifeSpring International Ministries

People contact our ministry with crisis situations that need immediate attention. Crisis care is the thrust of our Personal Advocacy Sessions. However, many of these crisis situations could have been avoided if the person had known some foundational principles that would help to strengthen their relationship with the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. In response to this need, we have developed AfterCare.

Please be aware that AfterCare is currently under a time of refurbishment.
We would ask for patience with us as we re-establish the next season that Heaven has for AfterCare.

As a consequence of this, all additional AfterCare Classes are on hold at the moment and new courses are in development. However, we will still continue to host our men's fellowship group Sons of Thunder that meets monthly as well as the Sacred Scroll: Discovering God's Voice through Journaling workshop three times a year.

As new courses are scheduled, they will be added to the AfterCare Calendar. Here is a list of the current calendar events under AfterCare that are still taking place:

The Sons of Thunder, is a men's fellowship meeting the 4th Thursday of the month under the leadership of Pastor Jeremy Friedman and a Men's Council. (Some months the date is changed, for instance July is the 5th Thursday). Click on the event in the calendar to find the details and the link to register. This event is open to ALL men.
The Sacred Scroll: Discovering God's Voice through Journaling workshop lead by Tara Rose is offered at the beginning of each LifeSpring School of Ministry intake. This workshop is a prerequisite for Trimester 1 entrance to LSOM but is open to all people to attend. The next intake will be in August so keep an eye on the AfterCare Calendar for the date of the next workshop. When you find the workshop event in the Calendar click the event and it will open up to the information and registration details.
Finally, the area of personal counseling is also under development. Presently we have counseling for men only with Pastor Jeremy Friedman. We are developing more sessions for women as well as group counseling and even coaching opportunities. Please be patience as this is being set up. For personal pastoral care counseling please click schedule a session. (The sessions that are live will open to a calendar with availability for you to choose a day and time to book.)

In the meantime, if you have any concerns in life or prayer needs for sickness, surgery, other events that worry you or even a praise report you can reach out via email to pastoralcare@courtsofheaven.net. Please be aware that this not an advocacy session, nor a counseling session but you will receive support via e-mail or an e-card. This is one of the ways AfterCare provides pastoral care support so you know that prayers and petitions are being offered for your issues in Heaven on behalf of LifeSpring International Ministries.

AfterCare provides compassionate and effective services through prayer, counseling, and teaching. We minister according to divine design, teaching first how we were created by our Father to live: Spirit, Soul & Body. We depend on the resources of heaven for freedom for our clients.

Through LifeSpring’s Personal Advocacy Sessions, we become aware of the damage that has been done to ourselves and our bloodlines. Many are suffering through various trials and injustices, some self-inflicted and some inflicted upon them by others. The good news is that no situation or circumstance is too difficult for Jesus. He knows you! He loves you! You are special to Him!

AfterCare Ministry is NOT the same as Personal Advocacy. Personal Advocacy sessions provide the freedom to experience the rewards that come from making better choices and receiving restored opportunities in your life. They release you from the bondages that have held you and your family captive for generations. Often there is more work to do after your Personal Advocacy session. AfterCare is the next step in your journey to healing and restoration.

AfterCare ministry empowers you through the guidance of the Holy Spirit to identify those areas of your life where change in mindset and behavior need to occur. We work together with you to help you recognize your underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and help you adjust to a new, healthier lifestyle through wise and practical counseling.

At AfterCare, we desire to create a comfortable and safe environment in which our clients feel loved, honored and accepted regardless of where they come from, what they have done or what they have suffered.

AfterCare Ministry offers classes, personal counseling and group counseling.

Personal Advocacy sessions are NOT offered here.

We deal with the desire to change mindsets and behaviors with the help of Holy Spirit.

Be aware that class or group times relate to EASTERN Time in the USA, you'll need to convert that to your time zone as you consider enrolling.

You do not have to have a Personal Advocacy session first in order to enroll in a class or schedule a personal counseling session; however we do find that our students and clients benefit from them whether they schedule it before, during or after the AfterCare classes or counseling.

How are the AfterCare services offered?

Personal One-on-One Counseling appointment sessions online through Zoom.
Small Group Counseling Session at various times online through Zoom.
Small Group Classes at various times online through Zoom.

How do the Counseling appointment sessions work?

Once you have scheduled an appointment, you will receive an email with a link and Zoom Meeting ID. When it is time for your appointment, simply click on the link (in that email) and it will open Zoom on your device. Each session may have some homework to be completed prior to your appointment.
We recommend using a PC or Mac with a working camera for the session.
You do NOT have to have a Zoom account to join us on a session. We use the Ministry's Zoom account for all sessions.
An AfterCare Counselor will meet you on-screen.
The AfterCare Counselor will follow the direction of Holy Spirit.

What is the cost of a personal AfterCare Counseling appointment session?

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS (One-on-One with one of the team):

$110 for a 1-hour session individual session

How do I schedule an appointment for a Personal Counseling session?

From the list of available dates and times, select your appointment time.

Why do you require "homework" after a Counseling or a Group Counseling session has been scheduled?

Homework is required to prepare your heart to receive what the Holy Spirit has planned for you. He prepares you for the session so that you will trust the process and gain results.

What does the "homework" for Individual Counseling or Group Counseling Session consist of?

Read, pray & journal about Psalm 139 -The Passion Translation. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you about this passage of scripture. He will illuminate at different times a verse that he wants you to meditate upon. Do this each day before your session.

Only one hour sessions are available.

A second and subsequent 1-Hour follow-up session is recommended and the frequency can be discussed with the team.
Please do not book subsequent sessions on the same day or closer than 1 week together. This gives your soul time to acclimate to new conditions that come from the ministry within the previous session and time to complete any homework.
Please note that your 1-Hour appointment can not be turned into a 1.5-hour appointment later or vice versa. This is because appointments are being booked all around your appointment time, and we can not make the change in the system.

What about cancellations or No-show clients? What is your protocol?

NO SHOW POLICY: We do not reschedule an appointment for a No-Show client for any reason and 100% of the fee for that appointment is forfeited. We do not refund class fees when a student does not show up for a class to which they are enrolled.
You are booking a professional Pastoral Service with us, please honor that alignment.
You are employing our counselors and their valuable time whether you show up or not.
Please make sure you know how to connect through Zoom, and at what time your appointment is scheduled, so that your scheduled appointment takes place.
The scheduling system we use will remind you via email one day in advance of your appointment and will reflect the time zone you choose as your time zone.
We are not responsible if you choose the wrong time zone.
International friends, make sure you choose your correct time zone.

A key element in successful resolution of issues in these sessions is the willingness of the participant to repent for themselves and their generations and be honest with those ministering to you. The more willing we are to repent, the more things can change in your situation.
