Hedging Your Bets
June 27, 2024Capturing Infiltrations into Your Life
August 14, 2024Marcelina and I stepped into Heaven, and I heard that song, “He's Been Faithful to Me” by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. I knew I was to give a bit of my testimony.
Marcelina spoke, “We don’t ever seem to get the scripture, ‘He never leaves us or forsakes us.’ We don't have to wait until we've gotten it all together! I want them to know it was where you were at your most broken that you were ministering to half the people in this ministry. You just made yourself available and obedient and through that, God planted in their field and just like he's shown me, it has sprouted up in yours as well.”
I responded, “Most people don't know that they can minister in their brokenness. We've been taught and conditioned that you have to have it all together. Yes, there's a place where you can't cast out what you have in common but the brokenness that was being ministered under wasn't something in common.”
We stepped in deeper regarding being used during times of distress. I heard the Lord say,
“The heart of the Father is for the people to know that in their brokenness, it is not them, it is Him that moves in them. It is Him that stands them up. It is Him that brings them as divine appointments (to others). It is Him that allows ministry. Where some will say, ‘Folks don't need to minister in their brokenness,’ it is in their brokenness that they can be used the most because it is not in and of themselves (that are ministering). Pain develops a keenness and awareness to things of the Spirit, and in those moments, there's a heart-to-heart connection from the heart of man to the heart of the Father.
“I will cause the deep to call unto the deep if you are a willing vessel. This is where you will find true comfort. I comfort those that need comforting, but in you and through you and out of your pain, you can offer comfort because of your experiences. Who better to comfort those that need comforting when you yourself are being comforted? Who better to speak to those that mourn than one who is in mourning and allows the bright and morning star to speak (through them). You are in your finest hour during those times. Do as King David did and strengthen yourself in Me, in the midst of your pain, your circumstances, your everyday life and your brokenness, for that is where the deep will be found. It will be drawn out and poured out as living waters. Allow yourself to be the reflection of Me. See the mirror inside of you. They will see only me.”
“Jesus, thank you, Jesus,” I remarked.
1 Samuel 30:6:
And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him. Because all the peoples were bitter in soul each for his sons and daughters, but David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
Ephesians 3:20-21:
Unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
In the Mirror Translation:
We celebrate Elohim whose supercharges us powerfully from within. Our biggest request or most amazing dream cannot match the extravagant proportions of their thoughts towards us.
2nd Corinthians 12:9:
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
In the Mirror Translation:
Finally it dawned on me that grace is God's language. He doesn't speak thorn language. He said to me, My grace elevates you to be fully content. And now instead of being overwhelmed with a sense of my own weakness, He overwhelms me with an awareness of His strength. Oh, what bliss to rejoice in the fact that in the midst of my frailties I encounter the dynamic of the grace of God to be my habitation.
1 Peter 5:7:
Cast all your cares upon him for he cares for you.
Mirror Translation:
Take immediate action when it comes to distractions and cares. Fling them upon the Lord. He's got your best interest at heart, and He's got your back.
