Understanding the Court of Supplications and Acquisitions – Part 6

(Continued from Part 1 and Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, and Part 6)
As we engaged Heaven again, we were immediately translated from our chamber within the heart of the Father to a mountain. This mountain is different from our personal mountain where rulership takes place, although it contains elements of rulership.
In the Gospels, we read that Jesus went up to a mountain to pray. He was accessing this place.
Jesus was present with us in the chamber, and we wanted to know where that mountain of the Lord was.
We asked, “What is this governing ruling seat of authority?”
Jesus said, “Many do not recognize their seat of authority.”
We then asked, “Jesus, is this different from the mountain that we have as our own mountain?”
He said, “It is different. Access to this mountain is also through intimacy—a mountain of the Lord.”
Stephanie asked, “Will you give me more understanding, Jesus, how this fits with the chamber of the heart of the Father and the Court of Supplications?”
He replied, “Are you not a ruling authority with my Word?”
She responded, “Your word is the final authority, Jesus.”
He asked, “Did I meet you here, friend-to-friend?”
We replied, “Yes. “
He said, “Ask anything, and it shall be given to you.”
Stephanie remarked, “Well, Jesus, I go back to that first time where I asked that Wisdom be able to walk through this life with me. I also have all these prayers about my life. How does this affect the people?”
He said, “Through one, it affects all. This is just an example. Speak my Word.”
Stephanie noted, “I feel like this is where I can talk to Jesus as a friend and receive what he has to say in the situation. Jesus, I feel like we have done this, not from this mountaintop, but where we have used your Word.”
He said, “This is your seat of authority on the mountain of the Lord. Regarding the ministry, what would be your authority? What would you pray here? Upon this rock, I will build my church.”
Stephanie commented, “This is to me, Jesus, where I would want to go before I went to the Court of Strategy.”
He said, “Strategies are strategies. This is My Word and authority upon the mountain of the Lord.”
In scripture, when Jesus went up to the mountain of the Lord, it indicated a place where he would step into Heaven and engage with the Father. It is our place of engagement with the Father, but it may not be as deep as the chamber of his heart.
Not everyone experiences the mountain of the Lord. It requires deep intimacy. It is their choice. It is about a seat of authority. The mountain of the Lord is a gate.
Jesus said,
“Rule with me. It is a measure.”
“Speak the words that I give you here in the mountain of the Lord. It is bigger than the strategy room. This is coming directly to you, friend-to-friend, in this place—The Mountain of the Lord."
From here (the mountain of the Lord), authority comes.
Some people cannot get to this place and to the point where they are speaking what he is saying because of the lack of intimacy. They can stay in the strategy room.
Let us take a look at Isaiah 2:3:
Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Let us be of the many people who go up to the mountain of the Lord. Now let us look at verse 2:
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
This is an earned position because of walking with the Father, obeying, going through things, and character building.
The Father’s heart is for all to reach this.
It is his desire, his yearning. It is attainable. It is a narrow road. It is your will. It is by choice. Choose whom this day you will serve. It starts there.
In Exodus 25:40, we see a principle that is laid out several times in the Word. Moses went up the mountain and while spending time with the Father, he was given blueprints for the tabernacle. He was told, “Make them according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain.” This principle is repeated in Exodus 26:30, 39:42-43, Numbers 8:4, 1 Chronicles 28:11, and more.
On the mountain, Moses received instruction as a friend, including a glimpse at what the Kingdom of God on earth would be like (the Ten Commandments[1]), the blueprint for the Tabernacle, and much more.
He was given everything on the mountain. That is where he would go in intimacy. He built enough intimacy that the Father showed himself to him in several ways. That is where he received instruction. When Moses, in anger, struck the rock and the Lord did not allow him to go into the promised land, it was because he had an intimate relationship with the Father, and he knew better.[2]
2 Peter 1:17-19:
For He (Jesus) received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." 18 And we heard this voice which came from Heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
From the mountain of the Lord, we gain instruction and insight. The Strategy Room is where we can gain information and methodologies to deal with enemies and situations, but the mountain of the Lord is more than that. It is not focused on the enemy; it is focused on intimacy. It is building us as we spend time with the Father.
The mountain of the Lord is within the chamber of His heart. That is where you meet friend-to-friend. Earlier in this series I mentioned how, from the Court of Supplications, we had immediate access to other courts to conduct business for situations. In that place, the Father said to “mind your mouth” and “the enemy is not welcome.” The enemy cannot come into His heart.
It is truly from that place that we can govern. We can say we will have no division, no sickness, no chaos, and it will be so. It is governing on a much deeper level—from within the heart of the Father. This is where Job 22:38 comes into play:
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.
From this place, you must be careful with your words, for you will have what you say.
The mountain of the Lord is not so much a separate place from the chamber of the Father’s heart but rather an overlay on the chamber of the Father’s heart.
You cannot think 3-dimensionally concerning this. The mountain of the Lord is within the Lord. It is within Him. The chamber is in His heart. We arrive on the mountain through the chamber, through intimacy. Jesus is the door into the Court of Supplications through intimacy, and from there, you go to the mountain.
